| of course, i had to wear a traditional chinese blouse :P |
| this is one of the many dragon and lion dance that roamed the streets |
It was great to just walk on the streets of Ongpin and Salazar without worrying of parking and having to carry lots of things, do a little fruits, tikoy and other sticky rice snacks shopping. We also enjoyed nosing around the different charm shops and see what everyone is flocking there for.
Goodluck charms for love, health and prosperity was everywhere too of course. Looking at the line up just makes me smile and enjoy how "chinoy" (Chinese-Pinoy) culture has flourished and continue to.
One of the best things about the weekend was that I woke up, fixed up and in 15 minutes and just crossed the street to attend Sunday Mass.
Doing this every year is not a bad idea, next time though, we shouldn't forget our shopping bags ;)

Tyya's dad won't assume anything irregularly at the hold - no ice cream, no sweetmeats, no cookies. But when the saleslady puts a assay sticker on Tyya's nose, Daddy is done feigned to gain something allowable
