last two minutes...

my birthday would be ending in two minutes...

im juz so stressed out... i juz wanna write something... to hopefully, make me relax...

yesterday, thursday, sept. 29, 2005...

La Salle vs. FEU (1st game - finals)

feu won... (they have an ostrich in their team!)

it was a nice game... as always... the green archers gave the tamaraws a really tough time...

of course, as a never ending thing in bball, trash talk.

if you can't beat him, distract him.

well, im not really surprised... but everything has its limits...

and the guy that hit santos... was unacceptable...

though, there was a part of me that said: "yes! he deserves it!"

i dont think it's proper to go down their level...

anyway, everything's been said and done...

maybe we'll just have to watch out for the last games...

and as a true blue (pun intended haha) lasallian... ANIMO LA SALLE!

my 17th birthday.

Ordinary day.

Stressful day.

My ENGLONE teacher asked me, “what have changed now that your 17?”.

Age is just a number… but it symbolizes everything of who I am now… hai…

I was suddenly stunned of the fact that I am really now in college… I am in an uncertain environment… so far away from the comforts of friends… school rules…

Things have changed drastically… I may not see it… but I feel it…

Enough senti mode.

Someone made my day just by greeting me…

Who is he?! TY TANG!

Hahaha…

After a really maddening loss yesterday (against FEU!)…

He was at school… he borrowed my chem. book (where by the way, I won’t be selling anymore, who cares for 700 bucks?! Haha!)…

Hmmmmm…

Feelin’ so tired and exhausted…

And as always I am hidin’ what I really feel…

Well…

Everything happens for a reason…

stress!

Gosh! 8 am class... 3 pm lunch… pages and pages of reading assignments… and with all that’s happenin’ in our country… all we could feel is stress…

Gone were the days of long breaks… free time… and sudden getaways…

Hehehe… funny… I think I can also blame to stress… our sudden urge to see a movie!

Hehehe… guess what we decided to see?! LOVESTRUCK!!! (dream, believe, fall in love… ) a total “jologs” movie…

Actually it was really funny… the people who we were watchin’ with were just annoying, for their sudden reactions, and stuff…

Of course the story, as expected wasn’t deep… but it sure was fun…

The naughtiness of the characters was harmless… hehehe…

We acted like we didn’t see the movie when we decide to go home… hehehe…

Anyway, it’s nice to do something extra-ordinary, once in a while…

Hehehe…

Hope to survive this week, with all my body parts together…

Gosh! I’m going to grow another year by the end of this week… and I still don’t want to leave my being 16! Hehehe…

Well… nothin’s permanent… so might as well accept it…

Age: 16 yrs. 11 months and 25 days! Argh!!!

Hehehe…

Well many are still older than me… so smile…. ; )

And there are people who didn’t live their 16 years like me!

So… it’s okie…

why is norman black?

we won!

another archer - eagle fight took place last
September 15, 2005. at the big dome.
my first time to witness the unending rivalry...
the atenistas took over half of the dome...
but as always! the Green Archers manage to take an early lead...
and eventually ended the game with a 77-52 winning point.

everybody were cheering their hearts out...
waiting for the next point to be made...
2 mis before the game ended... some of the players even managed to fool
around and made the crowd woo louder...

a really fun experience...
of course because i spent it with my friends...
eloisa, abby, gab, migo (gab's bro), jacq, drich,
alec, win, chris, and angeli.
we even made an "arrow" by placing adhesive silver tapes
in our shirts... but unfortunately, we were not seen by the cameras! hehe!
anyway, better luck next time...

some of our blockmates were also there...
migs, garen, soci and cid, but they were int he different section.

the DLSU pep squad, were the last to perform for the Non-Stop Cheerdance Competition.

see the tank?! nice concept ayt??!

september 17, 2005
araneta coliseum...
non-stop cheerdance competition...
finalists:
Ateneo, Adamson, FEU, La Salle, UP, UE, UST and NU.

there were only a small crowd from La Salle, compared to the
huge number of people from UST.

UST, UP and FEU, brought home 1st, 2nd and 3rd place, respectively.
the UST pep squad really did a nice job. i myself wooed after their performance.

but of course i was proud of what La Salle showed, really nice concept...
military... it was obvious though that there were more guys than girls...
so their dance routines weren't really impressive... and the color was quiet balnk,
when you look at it...

juz hope we can bring home the bacon next time...

picture: abby, jacq, eloisa, me and malvin...
gab, cza and rickson were with us too... ; )

i'm kooky.

after finishin' my routine of checkin mail and updatin' profiles in the web, i read two artices with the topic: WOMEN. i really found it interesting becuase i read these articles just today. ; )

The Husband Store

A store that sells husbands has just opened in Godfrey, IL, where a woman may go to choose a husband. Among the instructions at the entrance is a description of how the store operates. You may visit the store ONLY ONCE!
There are six floors and the attributes of the men increase as the shopper ascends the flights. There is, however, a catch . . You may choose any man from a particular floor, or you may choose to go up a floor, but you cannot go back down except to exit the building! So, a woman goes to the Husband Store to find a husband . . .

On the first floor the sign on the door reads:
Floor 1 - These men have jobs.
The second floor sign reads:
Floor 2 - These men have jobs and love kids. T
he third floor sign reads:
Floor 3 - These men have jobs, love kids, and are extremely good looking.

"Wow," she thinks, but feels compelled to keep going.
She goes to the fourth floor and sign reads:
Floor 4 - These men have jobs, love kids, are drop-dead good looking and help with the housework.

"Oh, mercy me!" She exclaims, "I can hardly stand it!"
Still, she goes to the fifth floor and sign reads:
Floor 5 - These men have jobs, love kids, are drop-dead gorgeous, help with the housework, and have a strong romantic streak.

She is so tempted to stay, but she goes to the sixth floor and the sign reads:
Floor 6 - You are visitor 31,456,012 to this floor.
There are no men on this floor.
This floor exists solely as proof that women are impossible to please.
Thank you for shopping at the Husband Store.
Please watch your step as you exit the building, and have a nice day!

September 7 to 8, 2005.

A few days left of our semester break, while most of us were going someplace with friends or just hanging around the house, trying to enjoy of what is left of our “rest”, I was off to the Communication Foundation of Asia in Sta. Mesa. With 5 other peer facilitators (that got passed the screening and interviews, of course!) and 2 councilors, I was exited of what was in store for me in these two days…

* I made this equation to explain the FUN experience that I had.

PEER FACILITATOR TRAINING = Me + Kenneth + Krissel + Anne + Chai + Raffy + Ms. Owen + Ms. Day + Ms. Daryl + CFA (Sta. Mesa) + name game + statue game + feelings game + evolution + seven up + worthwhile activities + self awareness + communication basics + non-verbal cues + effective listening SKILLS! + role-play + our roles as facilitators + our responsibilities + non stop eating! + non stop realizations + non stop getting to know! + magic tricks + cards + IQ stuff + fool around + scary feelings + the POOL + the RAIN!!! + pictures! + handouts + non stop sharing! + saying JUST thank you after a praise + stories about the course + about classmates + about teachers + of course about ourselves!!! + onting asaran + a place made entirely of bricks * FUN FUN FUN! ; )

the lessons i took home with me from this experience is that, not everything is in your control. so you just have to let it go. sometimes it pays good to keep quiet and listen. and each person has his or her way of interpreting things... so we should learn to adapt.

PICTURES!!!

im happy to meet new people... especially this bunch (krissel, kenneth, anne, chai and raffy)...

they rock! im looking forward to working with them in the future...

peer facilitators at work!

i wouldn't even call it work... cause it was so fun!!!
hehehe...
obviously... we did a lot of thinking...

our training wouldn't be succesful without our gorgeous councilors! (sipsiP!)
we are just pure o soo wacky!!!

SCARY FEELING. haha! Pasama… pls… hehe.

PICTURE PICTURE. via just loves to say this!

MAGIC SING. 100, 99, 98, 97… these were the scores that we got after belting those low notes with high voices! Hehehe!

SNORE. haha! An interesting topic to dwell on when we woke up, garen the tanker and cid the cow.

MISSING. Of course we missed those who were not able to come!
(alec, cza, flora, rickson, christian, billy, dean, caloi, win, angel)

BOOZE. the guys had lots of these!

EMPOY and CHASER. everyone just had to have one shot! me and aldrich’s new found friend!

IPOD. it was everywhere… and was really handy when toni started singing!

3:00 lunch, 9:00 dinner, 11:00 breakfast. this wasn’t planned, but that’s how it went.

ALLERGIES. those sensitive people were red a few minutes after they had their shot.

CELLPHONES. These techi things were mostly looked for, especially at night.

FUN. that was just how this experience was for me. I surprisingly realized that living with these people in a house will never be a good idea, unless there is booze, nah! Just kidding. Being with them in a different setting was a great idea to really understand and get to know, each unique individual. Although, we are not sure that we’ll be together until we graduate, I am pleased to know that I was there with these “creatures” (as what ms. orient will call us):

Aldrich. Jacq. Eloisa. Gab. Soci. Angeli. Erbin. Migs. Vic. Via. Garen. Mika. Cid. Toni. Anj. Chris.
