take me to siloso beach!!!

Yahoo! Avatars

okay... im bored... well... honestly sad... i am now struck by the trimestral sched of la salle! hehe!
my friends are all officially in vacation, while i'm still finishin my requirements, damN! anyway!
i juz found out from my flowchart, that i can finish my course in nine terms (meaning: three years), so im left with six terms, yey! but i was kinda thinking of shifting yesterday, coz i suddenly felt a urge to teach, i think it has got to do with the "educate to end poverty" posters in my room. so im really kinda thinking about that. and also, we just celebrated CED day, a.k.a. teacher's day, it was really fun, especially the culminating activity though it was really tiring... anyway, my avatar, is sad, coz im still in school and summer is on, but there is a dog, coz im expecting to have one real soon... so that's it... i gotta go back to reality now, and finish my papers... hehe!

if you're wonderin' what have been happenin' with my life lately, visit those links and you'll find out.
march 6-14. we made our speeches, practiced them, memorize and delivered them to the students.
TRASFORMATIVE LEADERSHIP and CONVERGENCE in EDUCATION. this was our platform, together with Ms. Jielene Sato (college assembly president), Tin Paderes (edge2004 batch rep), Kathy Mercado (edge2004 Legislative assembly represetative), Anna Litonjua (edge2005 legslative assembly represetative, alec, aldrich, toni, anil, chastine, and the other emcs, i ran for Edge 2005 Batch Represetative. i have never ran for any office in the 17 years of my existence, so everything, from the speeches, to the ptpc was new to me. i was always cautious of my actions, there were times that i hesitated but there were definitely times that i never let anything stop me from making the people see what i really wanted to do. i would even cut class, go home at 9 and be at school as early as 7, juz so ill be ready for the day ahead. march 15-17. was judgement day. elections.

march 18, at around 7pm, after all the "awards" and jokes have been said, we all settled down for the results. college of education was first, my batch was first too. then i heard my opponents name, i felt sad of course, there were a few tears... but when i heard that the EB was a sweep, i was definitley happy.

it was only until i got home when it all started to sink in, and i couldn't stop crying, to be perfecftly honest until now... but i don't regret anything, i had offered what i have to offer, i had a wonderful time with the coolest people and i'll forever treasure this experience. i am now going back to my regular life... i'll still have to finish projects for CED day, and i am looking forward to the new leadership next term. Congratulations and Good luck to Simoun, Noey, Melai, Jhoan, Kaysie, Chris, Jielene, Tin and Kathy!

Thank you: Anil, Chastine, Drich, Toni, Alec, Jielene, Tin, Kathy, Anna, my blockmates!, my CEO barkada!, TAPAT!, for believing and never giving up on me. I wish i could have given you victory but i didn't. i do promise though, to continue fighting for a just and free society and for a leadership edge05 truly deserves. ;' )

looking forward to our future projects... ; )
