quarter life

I'm currently browsing through different airlines in search for more low fares to Bangkok. If you haven't known yet (you probably don't have facebook or *twitter, which is impossible. because even unborn kids have those already), that's the "in" thing nowadays: cheap airfares. everybody's everywhere. and it's a good thing really because we are starting to explore the world more, especially our country.

I'd like to write more about the newly launched tourism tag: I'ts more fun in the Philippines. but maybe i'll do that next time.

For now, let me share to you my 2012 plans. (yep, it's TWO-ZERO-ONE-TWO already!) I'm turning 24 this year! and since I'm not planning to live until 100. and according to the Chinese, 2012 is year of the Dragon, same as the year I was born. I declare this is my quarter life already.
party like, like it's the end of the world. party like, like it's 2012 :)

PLAN A: YACHT party.
I think I have wished, planned, considered, pleaded for this ever since I learned how to spell yacht. (meaning, not so long ago, haha) :P
Before, someone told me I need 150K to rent a yacht. so I thought I needed around 200K to have a party like that. But I recently learned (thanks toni!) that I only need 60K to have this dream party. yep, 60K is still a lot of money but that's more attainable now, dba?? :D

before i get to my Plan B. I'd like to share also that I just deleted a drafted post about having to save money and controlling my spending because I just bought my own car. yup yup, that's right, I'm proud that at 22 I was granted a bank LOAN to pay for a car. her name's RUBY

she's a red hyundai accent. I'm still in the process of acceptance that for the next 3 years, a chunk of my salary will go to this piece of metal. hihi. of course, i won't be able to get Ruby without the help of my mum. thanks mumi! :P so back to the post about saving and not spending too much --- that got deleted. it's in the internet trash already, never to see daylight again, coz i haven't been doing that really. lol.

Plan B. BANGKOK 2012.
My cousin and I really wanted to go to Bangkok this year. I've been tagging it since last year "Bangkok 2012" even with my friends. Unfortunately though, she decided to postpone it and focus on her studies this year. I agreed at first. But then last week, while writing down flight schedules for my mum and some relatives for their Singapore-Kuala Lumpur trip. I suddenly realized I still want to go to Bangkok this year and I can do it with friends and on my birthday! yay!

i think Plan B is more practical and realistic. so I'm starting my planning now. I invited my bff, Joyee, who's bday is just 2 days ahead of mine. told her to save 2k a month until September and we're good to go. :) I'll probably invite more friends and I'm officially in the look out for cheap fares :)

I don't love traveling, but it loves me!! I get this tingly feeling every time I hear plans of out of town or even in-town (invented word?!) trips. and you know how students can't sleep the night before their field trip, that's me! totally! Plus, early horoscopes for this year says, Libras will go places this year. i know I've done a number of trips already, especially last year, why stop now right?

I'm planning to write at least one blog of all the places I've been, hopefully before 2012 i will be able to post them all. I'm still thinking of how to post them in a different way, coz I know there are tons of travel blogs out there already and i don't even know how to change the font properly on this thing. lol (toni, help!)

wish me luck! and i wish your 2012 will be filled with tons of things that make you tingly too :)

That's the new tagline? More fun in the Philippines? .. Sounds grammatically awkward. Lol

Anyway... Sayang, I just recently found out that a relative of ours who works in resorts world, used to be working in star cruises.

She offered my mom before free cruises, tapos all you have to pay is the ticket to wherever the departure of the cruise is at. The pier, I mean

Anyway... Sabi nyanthat happend way when I was younger. Hahaha like gradeschool haha..

Anyway again... I have this negative feeling hoping that your yacht party won't happen :( ... Kase you know... Unless... You tell the "organizers" to specify one employee not to come on that day. Of course you can do that I'm sure because you are the client. Haha. You know which employee/bartender/owner I'm talking about!

And. Goodluck writing down the places you've been too.
:)) that's a long list! And effort to recall is it?

Next..drop by back at my blog! :))) I have money issues as well! Haha
