HAPPY INDEPENCE DAY to all filipinos!
A lot of things have been happening around me, lately. And what better way to celebrate my Saturday, with a really wise conversation.

Our school’s outreach program tasked us to go to ESCOPA, project 4, Quezon City. I didn’t have any expectations in my mind, whatsoever. I just wanted to finish the job and go home. Surprisingly me and my partner, erbin, was handed over to a really nice family, there were the typical Filipinos now a days, that were tryin’ to live and enjoy life, besides all that is happenin’ in our country. I met a lot of their family members, and also kuya jomar, a really finicky guy. It’s been a while since I met someone like him, so energetic, so intelligent, so nationalistic as well. I was insecure of how he values his country, and how he really wanted to do something for our people. He made me realize a lot of things, and sort of taught me things that really “clicked” my mind, things that made me think.

I hope a lot of us, would be like him… including myself.

Things can really happen all at once. CE’ST LA VIE!
